Dennis Baldridge
was raised in the Church of the Nazarene and was saved at the age of
8. Throughout his youth, he attended church regularly and was an
active member. He has faithfully endeavored to follow God’s will for
his life. He earned his undergraduate degree in music in 1976
and Master of Arts in Education from Olivet University, Kankakee,
IL. Later he completed his PhD in Music from Louisiana Baptist
University. While at Olivet, Dennis ’s musical emphasis was on
both instrumental and choral music. He has used both in
his positions as minister of music throughout the years.
Beginning in 1974 and continuing today, he has directed choirs and
orchestras for various churches and
organizations.
In 1976 Dennis was
blessed to marry Jane. God has given them 5 godly children,
Jana (25), Timothy (23), Shelley (20), Mark (13), and Ryan
(10).
For years Dennis
studied in the Scriptures, seeking a Biblical view of music and
worship. As a result of this Biblical research, he discovered
the Reformed Faith as most accurately reflecting God’s design and
systems of doctrine.
Dennis works as a
broadcast engineer and consultant in SW Wisconsin. He also
teaches as adjunct faculty for Upper Iowa University and the
International Academy of Music. He resides in Hillsboro,
WI.
