For centuries, Baptists and Presbyterians have shared in common nearly identical core doctrines and practices, which both have faithfully drawn from the same well of Holy Scripture. Particularly foundational to both traditions are the glorious truths of Free and Sovereign Grace, which both groups have guarded tenaciously and preached passionately, even when it cost them their very lives. In recent history, Baptists and Presbyterians have enjoyed an increasingly richer and deeper level of friendship and fellowship with one another. Today, seeing Baptists and Evangelical Presbyterians exchanging pulpits, co-authoring books and cooperating in evangelistic and scholastic efforts with one another is, thankfully, commonplace. There are, however, a few teachings and practices that always have and continue to separate these two Christian groups to this day, whose members have long labored side-by-side in Christ's vineyard. Chief among these differences involves the biblical ordinance of BAPTISM. We cordially invite you to witness two friends and brothers in Christ, Baptist James White and Presbyterian Bill Shishko, engage in a fraternal and collegial debate over the question of who are the proper candidates for SCRIPTURAL BAPTISM.

Audio not playing? Show/hide troubleshooting info

The Apple Quicktime Plugin is required to play audio from this website. There are two common problems with playing audio - a missing plugin, or an improperly configured plugin. If you do not have Quicktime installed, you can download it here. If you have installed Quicktime but still cannot play mp3 audio embedded in web pages, you need to change some settings in Quicktime.

Configuring QuickTime

For Windows:

  1. Open the QuickTime Player.
  2. At the top of the QuickTime window, select the Edit menu, select Preferences, and then select QuickTime Preferences... The QuickTime Preferences window appears.
  3. In the QuickTime Preferences window, select the Browser tab, and then click MIME Settings... The MIME Types window opens.

  4. In the MIME Types window, you can specify the media formats you want QuickTime to play in your browser. You should select the MP3 - MPEG layer III movies and streams checkbox to enable Quicktime to play mp3 files.

For Mac:

  1. Open the QuickTime Player.
  2. In the menu bar, click the Edit menu, and select QuickTime Preferences... The QuickTime Preferences window opens.
  3. In the QuickTime Preferences window, select the Advanced tab, and then select MIME Settings... The MIME Types window opens.

  4. In the MIME Types window, you can specify the media formats you want QuickTime to play in your browser. You should select the MP3 - MPEG layer III movies and streams checkbox to enable Quicktime to play mp3 files.
